You can reserve an apartment with a €5,000 deposit, then the preliminary contract is signed within about 4-8 weeks at which a 25% deposit (minus the reservation fee) is paid. Stage payments are then due at various stages of the build until the final payment is payable at completion of the sale and handover of the property. Depending on which property you buy, the time between preliminary contract and completion is usually 18-24 months. For completed properties, completion can be within 2-3 months.

The preliminary contract needs to be signed within 4-6 weeks of reservation, either at the notary's office in Italy or we can let you know how to arrange power of attorney. A deposit of 25% is payable at preliminary contract (minus the €5,000 reservation deposit already paid).
For apartments which are nearly completed, a deposit of 40-50% is payable at preliminary contract.
Staged payments are payable as the work progresses, when your apartment has the roof on ( 20%), is 50% complete (20%), 80% complete (15%), and the balance is due at completion.
For apartments in Building B, delivery will be within 24 months of the signing of the preliminary contract.
